Reset System
Reset is the heart of endgame progression on MU Fighters. Instead of stopping when you hit max level, you wipe your character back to level 1 in exchange for permanent bonuses: extra stat points with every cycle. Each reset makes your character a little stronger, and since there is no reset limit, the ceiling is your dedication. This guide explains exactly the requirement, the cost (and how it climbs), how many points you gain, what gets redistributed, and the command to reset.
What a reset is
Resetting means going back to level 1 after reaching the required level, gaining advantages that stick forever. It is not a penalty: it is how you keep growing past max level. With each reset you:
- Get +500 level points that stack across resets.
- Have your stats redistributed (attributes return to your class base and the points become free to reassign).
- Keep your Master Level — it is not wiped on reset.
Requirement to reset
To reset you must be at level 400.
- Required level: 400.
- If you try to reset below level 400, the game just shows a message and destroys nothing — you lose no progress for trying early.
Zen cost (and how it scales)
A reset costs zen, and the price goes up with every reset. The rule is simple:
Cost = 1,000,000 zen × (number of resets + 1)
So your first reset costs 1kk; the second, 2kk; the third, 3kk; and so on. Here is the progression:
| Reset | Formula | Zen cost |
|---|---|---|
| 1st reset (0 resets done) | 1,000,000 × 1 | 1,000,000 (1kk) |
| 2nd reset (1 reset done) | 1,000,000 × 2 | 2,000,000 (2kk) |
| 3rd reset (2 resets done) | 1,000,000 × 3 | 3,000,000 (3kk) |
| 4th reset (3 resets done) | 1,000,000 × 4 | 4,000,000 (4kk) |
| … | … | … |
| Nth reset | 1,000,000 × (resets + 1) | climbs by 1kk each time |
Stash zen before you hit level 400 so you are not stuck when it is time to reset.
Points gained per reset
Each reset grants +500 level points, and those points stack:
- Points per reset: 500.
- They do not replace your current points — they add to what you already have (e.g., after 3 resets you have gained 1,500 points from resets alone, on top of what normal leveling gave you).
- The amount is fixed at 500 per reset (it is not multiplied by your reset count).
What gets redistributed (and what changes on your character)
At the moment of reset, here is what happens to your character:
| Item | What happens |
|---|---|
| Level | Returns to level 1 |
| Stats (attributes) | Redistributed — back to class base; points become free to reassign |
| Level points | +500 added to what you already had |
| Zen | Charges the reset cost (1kk × resets + 1) |
| Position | You are moved to town (home) |
| Session | You are logged out on reset (log back in) |
| Master Level | Kept — not wiped |
| Reset limit | None — reset as many times as you want |
The command to reset
Reset is done through a chat command, available to any player:
/reset
Just type /reset in the in-game chat. Before you do, run the checklist:
- Be at level 400.
- Have the required zen: 1,000,000 × (your reset count + 1).
- Type
/resetin chat. - You drop to level 1, gain +500 points, get sent to town, and are logged out — log back in and redistribute your points.
